Congratulations to Warwick Hospital, QLD for sucsessfully achieveing their forth BFHI accreditation at the start of 2020.

The BFHI Assessment Team who visited the facility, especially mentioned the facilities BFHI coordinator Ross Newton and “commended him on his commitment and passion for BFHI. Warwick Hospital can be justifiably proud of their team and the way they provide an outstanding service to the pregnant women, new mothers, babies and families in their local community.”

Some noteworthy comments from mothers who were cared for by Warwick Hospital include “Absolutely amazing. The midwives were 100% amazing with my breastfeeding experience” and “I felt really comfortable to make an informed decision about how I wanted to feed my baby, I didn’t feel judged (for bottle feeding). I felt supported.”

The midwives at Warwick Hospital noted “I think Warwick Hospital is really lucky. We can let women stay extra to gain more confidence. You don’t get that in a bigger hospital “

Finally, BFHI Australia would like to thank you for your dedication to the women and babies in your region, and your commitment to implementing practices that protect, promote and support breastfeeding.
